• He didn’t cross over to UKIP a few months ago because of the floods
• He has been a local UKIP activist for three years
• He grew up on a local council estate
• His family was staunch old fashioned Labour
• His first job was as a lab technician
• He is now a rich man from his own efforts in business
• He is a family man
• He is 60 years old

In other words he hasn’t just talked the talk – he has walked the walk…
